OOC PREFERENCES:
•CONTACT METHOD: Plurk (fivepointpalm), AIM (mintyfreshevil)
•THREAD-JACKING: Jack away!
•FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: Bleu's canon is historical fantasy and is set in 1891, so it's a little difficult not to canon puncture simply by taking about 20th century history and art, though I don't think she'd be recognizable as a fictional character (her book is just not very well known). I've got no objection whatsoever to Bleu being mistaken for Natalie Dormer or any of the characters she's played.
•BACKTAGGING: Backtags are gifts from the gods.
•AVOIDED TOPICS: None; if this changes, I'll bring it up OOC.
•PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: She/her
IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: 1891. Toulouse-Lautrec and Lessard have just burned a cache of her paintings in the Parisian catacombs.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Bleu has (at the moment) the body of a beautiful young woman that she created to conform to the classical feminine ideal. She is petite, around 5'4", with an astonishing figure and a lovely face with bright blue eyes. Her hair is long, dark, and usually curled. Due to the Sacré Bleu in her body her coloring has gone blue. She dresses in Victorian fashion, or at least she will until she gets some modern clothes (someone get this woman a miniskirt!), and wears a pendant around her neck with a dried ear on it. Normally she will speak with a musical voice and a French accent, although switching her accent to other locales she's lived in is very funny to her. She smells of floral perfume on top of a regular human smell.
•DEMEANOR: Given that she's spent her existence embodying ideals, Bleu is likely to at first act how she perceives the other person wants her to. When she drops this charade, she is playful and childish but also very honest, and will probably flirt with, cajole, and badger the person she's talking to whether she likes them or not. Other people are, no pun intended, a source of amusement. She's likely to be blunt and rather immature.
•ABILITIES: Long story short, she can create the Sacré Bleu, an incredibly powerful magical substance that's the source of her godly powers (when used by an artist it allows her to possess models, inspire painters, modify their memories, stop or slow time, and change where they are). However, she can't use any of her abilities without someone to harvest the Sacré Bleu and use it in artwork, so on the Barge she simply has her blue-producing power and above-human physical baseline. She can kick through wood and break bones barehanded, as well as recovering from wounds very quickly.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Bleu's body works like a human's (she eats, drinks, sleeps, sweats, goes to the bathroom, etc), but it's stronger and more resilient than the average person's. Her healing time is much shorter than a human's.
•CABIN INFORMATION: Bleu's door is a solid wood traditional-looking thing with an old-fashioned lock. On the inside it's a Parisian apartment from around the turn of the 20th century, lit by candles and gas lamps instead of electricity. It's decorated rather sumptuously, as Bleu appreciates the finer things, the most notable features being a fainting couch, a bureau, a vanity table, and a large bed. Her bathtub has been removed from the bedroom, which she is very unhappy about.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Disrespect of or disregard toward art. This is about the only thing that will truly offend her.
IC PERMISSIONS:
•MENTAL: I'd be up for trying this but mental influence to Bleu would be tricky. Sounds good, but please contact me OOC to hash things out.
•MIMICRY: Yes! She'd think this was hilarious.
•VIOLENCE: Yes.
•MAGIC: Yes.
•DEBATE: Yes.
•OTHER / NOTES: None at this time!
